High-Frequency Resistance Welding Assembly System

This machine was designed and built for SUNBEAM Corp. in Hattiesburg, MS. An operator places an element in a fixture along with a thermostat and 2 thermal cutoff devices. The start button is pressed, and the machine moves the assembly under a high-frequency resistance welding system. Welds are made at component leads that intersect within .001" of repeatability. This ensures exact placement of all components for better quality and consistent brewing water temperature. A total of 10 machines were built and installed in Mexico. Machine setup and training was provided by Design Innovation LLC.
